As long you get ORA-12154, the database to which you want to connect could not be figured out.

The files

tnsnames.ora

sqlnet.ora

in the directory TNS_ADMIN (if set as an environment variable)

or ORACLE_HOME\network\admin

are relevant for the network connection on the client side.

On the database server side:

sqlnet.ora

listener.ora

from ORACLE_HOME\network\admin

furthermore

the value of environment variable ORACLE_SID (sqlplus) or dbs_ora_tnsname (r3trans, disp+work) are used as a key in this files.

or to a much too big amount of data tried to export to memory.

reduce the amount of data stored in the table or increase rdisp/PG_MAXFS.

I just tried to get a common direction to what problem we are talking about:

you started with - disp+work is not starting, without having a deeper look into the root cause.

next we see that r3trans is not able to load the database library - fixed or not?

next you tried to change the database password in the java secure store for the schema owner of the java stack - which is not used at all by r3trans and disp+work why that?)

next problem is that the database network configuration is not OK (ORA-12154)

as long you got an 12154, you don't need to look at valid username/password combinations, because your database client program is not able to connect to the database and use username/password in this connection.

One again: which administrative action starts this disaster? System copy via copying files from one computer to the next one?

please there is no probelm of sap connection to SAPSR3 user and my system all ready work from last 6 moth no problem and second that my database and sap are on one window system and this system work fine last 6 moth and problem where arise after sapsr3db user expire and i unlock form sql this my mastic from my side,,,

We have recently installed SAP Content Server on our Windows 2008 R2 box, only installing the Content Server, no Cache Server or DB (Using File System) with IIS 7.5

After installation we go to http://<hostname>:<port>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo and receive the following error:

We have tried to following config settings in IIS 7.5 to no avail:

1.) Content Server -> Basic Settings -> Connect As -> Specific User (Enter user/pw)

2.) ISAPI and CGI Restrictions -> Content Server -> Allowed unspecified ISAPI modules

3.) Content Server -> Authentication -> Anonymous Authentication -> Specific User (Enter user/pw)

4.) Ensured that permissions on all files/foders in ..\SAP\Content Server are set to Full Access

Does anyone have ideas on IIS 7.5 config which we may have missed that is not allowing us to access the ContentServer.dll "running" message through IE?

Most probably an issue with the Wily Introscope memory parameters.

Increase the heap memory values (-Xmx and -Xms) to a higher value and then restart Wily.

Thanks for the reply. The question more towards information on Windows 2012 Failover Cluster. The lead time of this posting listed helped us in installing the system.

For the benefit of other friends on this forum, we have performed the installation as below

1. Installation of Windows Server Failover cluster (WSFC) as regular cluster setup (like Windows 2008 R2)

2. Installation of SQL Server 2012 in WSFC (This is created and configured as Role in cluster)

3. Followed OSS Note 1715878 to setup the cluster command interface in Windows 2012 FC.

4.SAP Cluster group creation as Role (We need to create this group in Windows Active Directory and DNS for SWPM to resolve hostname and IP address). This is performed as part of the Installation during step High Availability System - First MSCS Node

5. Installed Database Instance

6. Performed Additional cluster node steps

7. Installed Central Instance and Application Server Instance

We did not get a chance to try SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn feature. during this exercise but will be glad to share any experiences if we get the chance
