Hi,

 

Do you mean the user is trying to view the list using SPAD transaction code and he gets balnk screen instead list of printers configured in SAP?

Hi Prithvi...

 

My Scenario :-

 

When USER1 is trying to print from SAP, he is able to view list of all printers and print well.

 

However, when USER2 is trying to print from SAP, he is unable to view the list of all printers and couldn't print.

Hi Sridhar

 

1. Is this same version of SAPGUI with Patch level in all the computers?

 

2. Since it is Z program with help of ABAPer you can enable the trace transaction ST12 to find the ABAP & DB over all usage at what stage it getting terminated.

As far the Installation on Windows Server Failover Clusters is concerned, this is part of the installation guide.

Try to change the regional setting to English, US then the problem will no longer exist.

I got the same problem because I was previously set the regional format to Chinese.

The problem was resolved by reducing load on ABAP and DB, using optimization and modularization techniques by ABAPer.

Does this happen to every transaction for USER2 ? or... with only 1 transaction?

 

have you checked results of tcode SU53 AFTER this happens?

You will have more info when viewing these errors using SAPGUI and seeing them in SM21.

 

by default, all SM21 errors are replicated in Windows event viewer.

 

to change that behavior, see SAP note 72616 .

 

then, investigate these erros 1 by one.

MS Windows Cluster Single Cluster Group

Hi Experts

 

I am building a MS Server 2012 production cluster for my (A)SCS instances to be highly available. I have 4 ASCS and 3 SCS instances for a Solution Manager 7.1 SP12, ERP 6 EHP 7, PI 7.4 Dual Stack, Portal 7.4 and BW 7.4.

 

I have read the installation guide and understand SAP recommend placing each of these instances in to it's own cluster group with it's own IP address, Disk etc. I would prefer to have all of these (A)SCS instance installed in one cluster group with one IP address. I understand this will mean a failure on one will cause all of the resources to fail over. this is the configuration I currently have on one node in DEV and QAS.

 

My question is would this configuration be technically possible? if this configuration is technically possible would it be supported by SAP?

It would technically be possible, but is not supported from SAP.

You are not able to use SWPM to configure in this way.

Okay Gaurav - I am following the instructions here and I have hit a road block in finding my version of NetWeaver. Every where I look I need to use the GUI to see this information. I cant get SAP running to see the GUI.

 

Any ideas on how to see version of NetWeaver without GUI

Yes it was my partner account - all fixed now and i can view the link.

 

Thank you for sharing - I will look into this and learn how to correct. Any tips anybody can give me would be more than helpfull
